Bhagwat Gita

Bhagwat Gita which literally means ‘Divine-Song’ is a hand-book of life. An ocean of wisdom spread over 18 Chapters comprising 701 verses, it is seated in the middle of the greatest epic ever written ‘Mahabharat’ like a luminous pendant in the necklace. A pond of nectar in the mid of vicious whirlpool of Mahabharat which is a timeless and archetypal representation of human struggle, it is sub-section of the ‘Bhishma Parv’ of Mahabharat.

Bhagwat Gita which is in the form of a dialogue, a samvaad between Lord Krishna the guru and Arjuna the disciple, is taught right in the middle of

the battle-field of Kurukshetra. While Kurukshetra is the place where the war happened at a particular time it also stands as a timeless metaphor for human conditioning and mind where our divine and demonical tendencies are always at war. Usefulness of Bhagwat Gita is ever so much increasing with growing complexities and challenges of life.

Be it an aspiring student or a scientist, a trader or teacher, a writer or a wrestler, a manager or the managing director, it ever remains relevant giving clarity and inspiring one to achieve personal excellence. It paves our way to not just the success but fulfilment, taking the people, the team along.

Being essence of Upanishads, Bhagwat Gita is the greatest among the secrets requiring unfoldment by an enlightened master who not only has complete vision presented in it but also lives by it. Yogi Balkrishna is one of the most eloquent speakers on the Bhagwat Gita and presents it in the manner which is engaging, entertaining and enlightening.
